Bespoke Audio Installations
Audio to match your vision, rain or shine.
A bespoke audio installation is not just about audio. Delivering a clean aesthetic that works in harmony with your building design is often as important to our clients as the quality of the sound.
Conduit and cabling design during construction is critical for best results visually and audibly, especially where concrete and rebar prevail.
Whether it's wall mounted TVs with no visible cabling or matching speaker locations and aesthetics to an architect's vision, we've seen (and hidden) it all, with some unique solutions along the way. 18" subwoofers have become stylish coffee tables, large cabinet speakers hidden behind lattice wood work in ceiling spaces, and architectural speakers have delivered sound that is heard everywhere, but barely seen. Subwoofers literally buried in the landscape coupled to satellite speakers hidden in rock gardens can still deliver a surprisingly premium audio experience.
Whilst it's true that speaker size can direclty effect quality in open areas, clever use of mounting options and modern mini line-array designs (thin column speakers using several smaller drivers in place of a single large driver) or smaller satellites paired with subwoofers can generate impressive full range audio without imposing on the view.
From an audio perspective the objective is simple - to get a uniform, consistent and clean sound signature across all required areas, avoidin anomalies due to poor speaker placement or building acoustics. If it's intelligble and clear everywhere, then higher sound levels may not be needed. Of course, if you want to go big, then we're still happy to oblige!
Finally, the interface needs to be easy to use and robust enough to survive the extremes of Caribbean weather and power delivery. We have seen every type of power, UV, water and corrosion damage possible, and there are proven products we trust and recommend for outdoors or commmercial settings.
